Spring Valley Volunteer Fire Department is a 501 c(3) Non-Profit, and exists to protect the lives, property and environment within the communities served from fires, disasters and emergency incidents through education, prevention and emergency response.
Spring Valley Fire responds to all calls for service, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We have roughly 50 trained and certified members dedicated to serving and protecting all the lives, property and environment that fall within our dispatch area of approximately 200 square miles.
We strive to provide exceptional customer service that is efficient and dependable, and delivered with compassion and professionalism. Like most Fire Departments in the US, a majority of our calls are medical in nature, but we have our fair share of traffic accidents, fires, and assorted requests for assistance from folks who believe that a situation has grown beyond their control.
We respond to calls for service with a fleet of emergency vehicles that have already been retired by other local agencies (CalFire, Milpitas Fire, San Jose Fire and others). We are grateful for the support from these agencies, and we work long hours to keep these vehicles safely on the road, and ready to respond.
Spring Valley Fire consistently works to improve service delivery for residents and visitors to the unincorporated areas of Eastern Santa Clara County. Training with local and regional agencies, to ensure that we are able to provide the highest level of service available.
