• Maintain a defensible space by removing flammable materials and vegetation from within a 30 foot perimeter of all structures.
• Landscape using fire resistant plants wherever possible.
• Reduce hazardous vegetation within 100 feet of structures.
• Trim trees clear of the ground to reduce likelihood of igniting during a fire.
• Clearly mark emergency water sources.
• Clearly identify power and propane shut-offs.
